Stacy, my BFF, or Biff as I call her, recently had surgery for some freak birth defect with her kidney. She loves to bake and decorate cakes and yet wasn't feeling any love for her hobby since her surgery. When I mentioned I was just going to buy a cake from the store to take in for the teachers she got this weird body language. I knew it was the don't do it thought running through her head. So today I went to her house and baked a cake. When I went to ice it, she took over. I would have just slathered the icing on it. She got out her stuff and made it pretty. It was great to see her feeling up to doing things she likes. Guess she is on the mend and that makes me very happy. So today my simple joy is seeing my Biff decorate a cake.
