Simple Joys #27

Every Thursday Sam picks something to write about in his journal for his homework. Today he picked to write about Carissa and how he missed her. Then he drew her on top of a tank. I am glad he and Toby don't really understand what she is doing in Afghanistan. They do not need to understand the seriousness of it, they just need to stay proud of her.
This made my day. I know she loves Sam like her adopted son, a lot like how I feel about her. If you know them both, you will know how much they look alike and sometimes even act alike. I think they may even have similar hair cuts right now.
